Danny Kent stayed ahead of his Bennetts British Superbike Championship rivals in the warm up session at Circuito de Navarra as the McAMS Racing Yamaha rider held a 0.145s advantage over Kyle Ryde on the OMG GRILLA Yamaha Racing R1.
Reigning champion Tommy Bridewell posted the third fastest time, as he was nudged back in the final minute by his Yamaha rivals to break up the Yamaha lock out, with Ryan Vickers holding fourth place.
Christian Iddon was fifth fastest on the Oxford Products Racing Ducati, moving ahead of Max Cook and Jason O'Halloran as the Completely Motorbikes Kawasaki riders held sixth and seventh respectively.
Josh Brookes was the leading FHO Racing BMW Motorrad Team rider in eighth place with Lee Jackson and Glenn Irwin completing the top ten ahead of the opening race this afternoon.
