Oxford Racing Ducati’s Bridewell gets WSBK call up for Jerez

Fresh from a double podium finish last time out in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Donington Park, Tommy Bridewell will be back in World Superbike action next weekend at Jerez with the Team Goeleven.

Bridewell who sits just six points off the Bennetts BSB Championship lead after the opening three rounds, will be replacing Eugene Laverty as he continues his recovery from injury following a double points scoring performance at Imola.

Bridewell said: “I’m very happy and excited to get another outing on the WorldSBK stage. In Imola it was very rushed, and we did a good job with the time we had but now for Jerez I expect to be stronger. We have been working very hard to understand this new Ducati Panigale V4 R and I feel great on the bike so once I re-adapt to the factory electronics we can start to push hard."
